Rodrigo Hernandez Martinez is a Scenic and Costume Designer from Cancún, Mexico. They graduated from Ithaca College with a B.F.A. in Theatre Production Arts with a concentration in Design.

Their first contact to storytelling through performance were the touring shows of Cirque Du Soleil that visited Mexico City and since then they’ve been interested in the wide variety of stage performances and design.

Growing up between Cancún and Mexico City gave them the eagerness to discover new places that widen their vision as an artist. That’s why they decided to leave home and move to Ithaca, NY to get a college education.

Now they’re working as a NYC based designer eager to engage in the collaboration process of contemporary and diverse projects reaching to new audiences through different realms of performance.
